Mongolian scholars of Chinese studies have welcomed their first book in Mongolian which compiled the 5,000 years history of Chinese culture, and provided very clear and simple explanations. The opening ceremony ran Wednesday at the Mongolian-Chinese cultural center of Ulaanbaatar.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia Mr Wang Xiaolong arrived to extend his gratitude to the authors. He stressed that this book bestows its unique contribution to the relations of the two countries.

A donation of MNT 26 million made by the China Bank office in Ulaanbaatar for the new book was handed at the ceremony.

An author D.Undraa said that the book has two chapters--Culture of Chinese Ancient Dynasties, and Contemporary Culture of China--which provide comprehensive information about crafts, clothing, traditions and custom arts developed through the course of the period from Xia Dynasty to the modern era, and about people’s culture and great construction in cultural industry of China.
